Ministry of Education Subjects

Our school follows the Ministry of Education curriculum, providing students with a comprehensive education that combines academic excellence with moral and ethical development. The subjects below are designed to foster knowledge, skills, and values from early years through primary grades.

Islamic

Starting from KG1, Islamic Education at our school focuses on nurturing students’ spiritual growth and understanding of Islamic principles. From the earliest stages, students are introduced to the teachings of Islam in a safe and supportive environment.

  1. Understanding core principles such as the Five Pillars of Islam, key stories from the Quran, and the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
  2. Memorization of essential duas and age-appropriate Quranic verses
  3. Practical application of values including honesty, kindness, respect, and empathy
  4. Engaging activities such as interactive storytelling, group discussions, and creative projects
  5. Helping students develop a strong moral foundation and an appreciation for the beauty of Islamic teachings

Arabic

Starting from KG1, Arabic is taught in two streams, Arabic A and Arabic B, to meet the diverse language backgrounds of our students. Both streams focus on developing language skills in a progressive and engaging way.

Arabic A (Advanced / Natives)
  1. Designed for students with a strong Arabic background or native speakers
  2. Focuses on advanced reading comprehension, writing skills, and grammar
  3. Encourages critical thinking through stories, discussions, and written exercises
  4. Prepares students to confidently express themselves in both formal and creative Arabic
Arabic B (Beginners / Non-Natives)
  1. Designed for students with little or no prior knowledge of Arabic
  2. Introduces the Arabic alphabet, basic vocabulary, and simple sentence structures
  3. Builds speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills gradually
  4. Uses interactive activities, songs, and storytelling to make language learning fun
By the end of each stage, students develop confidence in communication and a strong foundation in Arabic literacy.

Social Studies & Moral Education (SST & Moral)

Starting from Grade 1, Social Studies and Moral Education aims to help students understand the world around them while cultivating ethical values. Lessons are designed to connect classroom learning with real-life experiences, helping students become responsible and caring members of society. Key areas of focus include:
  1. Community and culture: Learning about local and global communities, traditions, and cultural diversity
  2. Civic responsibility: Exploring rights and responsibilities and fostering respect for rules and laws
  3. Ethics and moral values: Emphasis on honesty, kindness, empathy, teamwork, and social responsibility
  4. Critical thinking and problem-solving: Engaging in discussions, projects, and case studies to understand complex social issues
  5. Practical application: Demonstrating ethical behaviour through daily actions and community involvement
By integrating social knowledge with moral development, Social Studies & Moral Education helps students grow into thoughtful, ethical, and socially aware individuals.
